Our summer has been stressful and autumn was going to be the same. Therefore we didn’t want to do anything for a whole week – okay, nearly nothing 😉
Since we only had a few days available and a long-distance trip made little sense, we decided on Egypt. We quickly found a great all inclusive resort – Tui Magic Life Club Sharm el Sheikh
After relaxing for a few days, we felt the need for some action. We booked a quad safari in the Sinai desert at sunrise. We enjoyed the sunrise in a Bedouin tent in the middle of the desert. After a short camel ride, we switched to the quads.
Dinner tastes even better after such a sweaty day. With pita bread, hummus and falafel you could eat enough every day, but also many international dishes were on the menu.
As always, a week goes by far too quickly. However, this week was enough to replenish our reserves. With freshly refueled energy, I was able to start planning a new trip again, this time it would drag us further into the distance 😊
Our personal opinion about Sharm El Sheik:
- a great destination for a few days of relaxation
- very recommendable hotel complex
- less suitable for swimming (why? see in our tips below)
Best travel time:
Sharm el Sheikh can be visited all year round. The water is warm enough for bathing in all seasons. The high season is in July and August, but it can get really hot here. We personally recommend March – June and September – November.
Hotel recommendation:
Tui Magic Life Club Sharm el Sheikh
More tips & recommendations:
- Entry into the sea is only possible via a 240 meter long jetty.
- Bathing shoes recommended
