Stellenbosch – a paradise for gourmets

It is really no secret that Sven and I are really great gourmets πŸ˜‹ We enjoy course menus with body and soul and of course that includes the right wine accompaniment. It should therefore come as no surprise to you that I had already selected and reserved the best restaurants in Stellenbosch weeks beforehand – I didn’t want to leave anything to chance 🀣

After arriving from Cape Town I wanted to surprise Sven and booked a couples massage in the room in our accommodation.

After that, our well-kneaded bodies were ready for a delicious gourmet menu including a wine tasting in the Restaurant Graff Delaire.

We reduced the excess calories the next day on a hike in the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve. Since we had a few glasses too much the evening before πŸ™ˆ we decided on the shorter tour to the waterfall (you can find more information on this below).

On the day of departure we strolled through the wine region near our accommodation.

Best travel time:

From January to April and October to December there are pleasantly warm temperatures and little rainfall.
