During our last vacation on Lake Maggiore, of course, we also paid a short visit to the idyllic holiday destination Ascona 😍

You can’t discover everything in a few hours, but it quickly became clear that the charming lake promenade with its many restaurants and cafés is the highlight of Ascona.

So we marched up and down the promenade and let the Italian flair sink in. Later we were very lucky to get a table in an Italian restaurant in the front row with a direct view of the lake.
