Get out and explore the world
Since we have already seen a lot of the world, it should be something very special for our honeymoon. After a lot of back and forth we decided on the Seychelles 😍
It also quickly became clear that we wanted to explore the 3 main islands: Mahé, Praslin and La Digue. For once, the Seychelles were a trip that was decided and booked relatively quickly.
Rice terraces, temples and dream beaches … these images are probably the first ones that come to mind when thinking of Bali. After our short stop in the vibrant metropolis of Singapore, we were looking forward to a few relaxing days. We decided on 3 starting bases to discover the island – Jimbaran, Ubud and Nusa Dua.
Exactly … you read that right – the cleanest city in the world. Until recently, chewing gum was banned. When entering the country, it could well happen that it would be confiscated. By the way, there is no shop in all of Singapore where you can buy chewing gum. Spitting and not flushing after the toilet are also treated as criminal offenses. Now it should be clear why this metropolis is actually one of the cleanest in the world.
The tallest building in the world, luxurious hotel complexes & gigantic shopping malls … No city is growing as fast as Dubai. I had been fascinated by this modern Orient for a long time, I wanted to find out whether this Dubai hype was justified. We therefore decided to spend a couple of nights in Dubai in combination with a beach stay in Fujairah.
After Punta Cana, Thailand was our second long-distance trip together. We hadn’t really informed ourselves about the destination and just picked out the (in our opinion) nicest hotel. Since most of the flights from Europe land in Bangkok, we decided to stay 3 nights there and travel on to the island. Well, it was that easy and our travel plan was set.
